Role Description 

As a Data Reviewer, you will be task with the evaluation and tracking of data produced form laboratory and clinical testing. This will include the monitoring of data deposited by automated data handling systems, review the quality of data being gathered, collate information for wider team / business review and feedback results concerns and risks to relevant teams.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the influx of internal data (laboratory and clinics) and reviewing results of testing
  • Report findings of experimental data to relevant function leads
  • Highlight issues encountered during data review and facilitate data reconciliation process
  • Support laboratory and clinical functions with specific data analysis requests
  • Create presentations on data reporting and study outcomes for internal and external stakeholders

Candidate Profile

  • Confident in operating office software packages (e.g. MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to navigate data and collate descriptions of experimental results using graphs and tables
  • Ability to work with teams as well as independently
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong independent and innovative thinker
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Willingness to learn working with data processing and visualisation packages (Matlab, Python, etc.)
  • Working experience in applied microbiology or data science
  • Master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline
